Connect Google Search Console

Google Search Console integration is essential for getting the most out of StratGen.

Why Connect GSC?

• Real keyword data: Actual queries driving traffic to your site
• Position tracking: Accurate ranking data from Google
• Performance metrics: Clicks, impressions, CTR, position
• Better AI strategies: More data = better AI recommendations

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Go to Project Settings > Integrations
2. Click Connect Google Search Console
3. Sign in with your Google account
4. Authorize StratGen to access your GSC data
5. Select the property (domain or URL prefix) to connect
6. Click Confirm

Data Sync

• Initial sync imports the last 16 months of data
• Ongoing sync runs daily for the latest data
• Data appears in the GSC Performance module

Troubleshooting

• No properties shown: Make sure you're signed in with the account that owns the GSC property
• Verification failed: Ensure the site is verified in GSC first
• Data delay: GSC data is typically 2-3 days behind real-time
• Permission error: You need at least "Restricted" permission level in GSC

Important: StratGen only reads your data. We never modify your Search Console settings.
