Keyword Clustering
Updated on April 7, 2026
Keyword Clustering
Group related keywords into semantic clusters for better content planning.
How It Works
StratGen's AI algorithm:
- Collects all keywords from GSC, competitor analysis, and manual imports
- Analyzes semantic similarity using NLP
- Groups keywords into thematic clusters
- Suggests pillar-cluster content architecture
Running Clustering
- Go to Clustering in your project
- Click Run Clustering
- Select keyword sources (GSC, competitors, manual)
- Set minimum cluster size (default: 3 keywords)
- Wait for the AI to process
Understanding Results
Each cluster includes:
- Cluster name: AI-generated topic label
- Keywords: All keywords in the cluster
- Total volume: Combined monthly search volume
- Average difficulty: Mean keyword difficulty
- Content suggestion: Recommended content type
Using Clusters for Content Strategy
- Each cluster can become a content piece or pillar page
- Related clusters form topic pillars
- Use clusters to identify content gaps
- Map clusters to existing content to find optimization opportunities
Tip: Run clustering after adding new competitor data for the most comprehensive results.
