Create Tasks and Notes
Beyond content items, you can add tasks and notes to your editorial calendar.
Creating a Task
- Click on a date in the calendar
- Select New Task
- Fill in:
- Title: Brief description
- Description: Detailed instructions
- Due date: When it should be completed
- Assignee: Team member responsible
- Priority: High, Medium, or Low
Task Types
- Editorial tasks: Writing, editing, proofreading
- Technical tasks: Schema markup, internal linking
- Research tasks: Keyword research, competitor analysis
- Administrative tasks: Client reporting, team meetings
Notes
Notes are lightweight reminders without deadlines:
- Click Add Note on any calendar date
- Write your note content
- Notes appear as colored markers on the calendar
Task Management
- Complete: Check off tasks when done
- Reschedule: Drag tasks to new dates
- Filter: Show only tasks in calendar filters
- Notifications: Get reminded when tasks are due
