Create Tasks and Notes

Beyond content items, you can add tasks and notes to your editorial calendar.

Creating a Task

  1. Click on a date in the calendar
  2. Select New Task
  3. Fill in:
    • Title: Brief description
    • Description: Detailed instructions
    • Due date: When it should be completed
    • Assignee: Team member responsible
    • Priority: High, Medium, or Low

Task Types

  • Editorial tasks: Writing, editing, proofreading
  • Technical tasks: Schema markup, internal linking
  • Research tasks: Keyword research, competitor analysis
  • Administrative tasks: Client reporting, team meetings

Notes

Notes are lightweight reminders without deadlines:

  • Click Add Note on any calendar date
  • Write your note content
  • Notes appear as colored markers on the calendar

Task Management

  • Complete: Check off tasks when done
  • Reschedule: Drag tasks to new dates
  • Filter: Show only tasks in calendar filters
  • Notifications: Get reminded when tasks are due
