Manage Roles and Permissions

StratGen provides four distinct roles to control access within your workspace.

Available Roles

Changing a Member's Role

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Team
  2. Find the member in the list
  3. Click the role dropdown
  4. Select the new role

Role Details

Owner: Complete control over the workspace, including billing and deletion. Only one owner per workspace.

Admin: Can manage projects, team members, and all SEO features. Cannot access billing or delete the workspace.

Member: Can create projects, run analyses, and generate strategies. Cannot manage team or workspace settings.

Viewer: Read-only access to all data. Perfect for clients or stakeholders who need visibility without editing.

Transferring Ownership

To transfer workspace ownership:

  1. Go to Settings > Danger Zone
  2. Click Transfer Ownership
  3. Select the new owner from your team
  4. Confirm with your password
